Our History
FiB Preparedness started as a small Mutual Assistance Group (MAG) — just a couple of preppers searching for support and solid information. What began as a quest for knowledge quickly grew into a lifelong friendship and unbreakable bond.What started as a business of three has now become a business of one. Through every challenge life threw our way, we faced it head-on the way we were raised — standing together as siblings, relying on the resilience, discipline, and self-reliance instilled in us by our father, a proud member of the 101st Airborne.Now, we’re excited to announce that Brother John is officially joining FiB Preparedness, making this a true family business once again. His addition will help us increase our output, expand our offerings, and bring fresh products to the market — including apparel and possibly investigative tools.At the core, we’re just average, everyday Americans — just like you. FiB is an ISA Certified Arborist with over 25 years of professional experience and more than 20 years dedicated to preparedness. Brother John brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the woods, along with extensive knowledge and insight into the paranormal and cryptids.We’re proud Americans who love our country, even when it doesn’t always love us back.We’ve enjoyed attending events like Mountain Readiness, and we even hatched our official business plan on the long drive home from Fallout in 2023.We’re big fans of podcasts and videos from creators like Bear Independent, Creek Stewart, Operation Bushcraft, Mountain Readiness, Angry American, Eden Army, Sensible Prepper, The Holosky Podcast, and Mind4Survival — along with many other knowledgeable survivalists and paranormal researchers.If your favorite prepper, bushcrafter, or expert on the unexplained isn’t listed here, don’t worry!
